What The World Needs Now Is...

I was selected from a pool of student submissions to design the identity for a gallery show featuring Brian Singer, a contemporary San Francisco based artist, open through this fall. The project encompassed a full exhibition design and branding system, which I built around a highly conceptual approach that placed typographic composition and form at the core of the visual language. Deliverables included the A-level panel, the about-the-artist panel, and an elevation drawing demonstrating their spatial interaction at scale, as well as a suite of promotional materials for the exhibition. Together, these elements created a cohesive system that translated across print and environmental applications and is currently on view in the gallery.

Exhibition Identity Design

Over the course of several months, the project evolved through an intense and thoughtful process of iteration, feedback, and refinement. I collaborated closely with both the gallery director and the artist to ensure that the visual system not only supported the gallery environment but also aligned with the artist’s vision. This collaborative process allowed me to fine-tune the details of typography and composition, ultimately producing an identity that feels both conceptually strong and deeply responsive to its context.
